the artist
Lauren Henry holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Toronto, studied Visual Art at York University and Graphic Design and Illustration at Sheridan College. She grew up on Manitoulin Island and returns frequently to the north, where she has canoed to, explored and painted many of the same vistas captured by the amazing Gof7 artists. She also finds inspiration along the ski trails and bike paths of the Ottawa region where she resides.

Her works have been shown at  the Ottawa Art Gallery, the Foyer Gallery, the Kanata Civic Art Gallery, The Ron Maslin Theatre (Kanata), Art Lending of Ottawa, the Nepean Visual Arts Centre, and various Art Festivals throughout the province.
